VeinViewer Shipped!

Filed under: Anesthesiology , Emergency Medicine , Medicine , Pediatrics

The VeinViewer, a device that reveals the underlying venous anatomy for easy IV placement, is now being shipped, according to RedHerring.com. The system by Memphis, Tennessee-based Luminetx, was followed by us since it was in prototype stage. Congrats to everyone at Luminetx for developing a terrific device! Note to nurses on the floor: call VeinViewer and not an on-call anesthesiologist.
